My husband and I treated our family to Lelli's to celebrate multiple birthdays. We were really looking forward to the dinner, but were very disappointed. We ordered traditional full course dinners, but did not feel the extras were worth the upcharge. The antipasto tray was very, very skimpy. The salad was mostly plain head lettuce. We were originally given just a few rolls and a few breadsticks for our party of ten and had to ask for more. Simple drink orders took a very long time and were confused.. The waitstaff forgot to serve the pasta course and had to be reminded when the main entre was served. On the plus side, I was pleased with my tenderloin main entre and my son said his bone-in sirloin was one of the best steaks he's ever had. We spent over $1,000 that evening, but would not return.

We were in Troy for an anniversary trip and bought a Groupon for Lelli's to try a new dining experience. We were so pleased at how phenomenal the vintage 1936 Lelli's home recipes tasted, including their famous Original Zip Sauce and Filet Bolognese Meat Sauce with Fettuccine. And the amount of food for the price was a great value, so we were more than happy to extend the savings to Pete, our extraordinary server!

I used to come every anniversary. After my divorce it's been hard. I returned a few weeks ago. Everything was outstanding and the service exceptional. I need to return a few more times to make it a new experience. I can't recommend going here highly enough. I promise you, your date will love you for it.
Fettucine Prosciutto and Peas
This is my favorite pasta at Lellis. Classic style, similar to a dish I used to get at the old Roma Cafe, but with all the extras.I get it with the chicken and it's plenty for another meal.

Food was great. Atmosphere was extremely comfortable and quiet. We were not rushed and before we knew it, it was 3 1/2 hours later. I would go back every week.
